Bøle - Åbborsjøen - Volévegen - Høystad

General information

The tour goes in forest terrain down the steep Høystad-mountain-side. Here the fantastic view over the valley is the climax of the route. Another topic is forestry, particularly forestry in former times. Memories from former times, such as “kolmiler” and animal graves can be seen.
The tour must be organized with transport up to Bøle seter. From there we walk along a seter road, possibly with an excursion to the Åbborsjøen (perch see). We go along forest roads down Gluggdalen to the Skardet. We follow a tractor road, with excursions to an old horse path. The last piece goes along forest road.
